Position: Firewall & Communications Administrator
Tideworks is looking for a hard working, energetic, and creative engineer for our Communications Management group.
To be considered for this position applicants must have experience setting up and administering Check Point firewalls and
Cisco routers and switches in a medium size corporate Wide Area Network. In specific, applicants must have extensive
hands-on experience with the following:
- CheckPoint Firewall NGX or R70
- Cisco routers
- Cisco switches
In addition, experience with the following is considered desirable:
- Mitel [Inter-Tel] Axxess or 5000 voice systems
- Provisioning data and voice services
- VoIP (Voice over IP)
- Polycom video conferencing
- Cisco ASA firewall administration
- Cisco wireless Access Points and Bridges
- F5 FirePass appliance
- Solarwinds Orion network monitoring solution
- implementing WAN, LAN and WLAN security
- BGP4 and static routing
- MPLS WAN administration and troubleshooting
- Quality of Service administration and troubleshooting
